HTR Consulting was founded on April 15, 2015, as a result of operating in base metals commodity trading and building a network of partners and clients with evolving needs. Clients increasingly requested guidance to source and connect with innovative and alternative funding options to finance and support diverse parts of their commodities-related business and trade operations.HTR Consulting team has more than 100 years of combined experience in Business Finance & Commodities-related areas and more than 20 years working together under different commodities, finance or trading ventures. The firm operates in the US and UK and provides consulting services to clients worldwide. Over time, HTR and the team have developed substantial expertise in the base and precious metals trade financing, and most recently, in the past two years, with our guidance, clients have secured well over 100 million in funding from our network of lenders each year.

Herbert Tweddle - Founding Partner & President. As the president and founding partner of HTR Consulting, Mr. Tweddle has played a pivotal role in the firm's growth, cultivating essential relationships from the extensive client base he acquired during his lengthy career in the commodities industry. Mr. Tweddle's past experience spans over 30 years serving institutional clients worldwide, assisting them in implementing trading strategies, and offering hedging advice mainly in base and precious metals markets. Mr. Tweddle supervises the overall management and day-to-day operations of HTR Consulting, and he is an active team member providing advice to clients.
Paul Sharp - Managing Director. Mr. Sharp has over 40 years in the base and precious metals industry. His experience includes working at LME brokers, precious metals refiners and international banks. He has managed proprietary trading books, traded physical metals, and worked with Project and Structured Finance teams to provide solutions to the metals and mining community. Mr. Sharp is based in the UK allowing for 24/7 coverage to the client base.
Kevin Ryan - Managing Director. Mr. Ryan has over 30 years of experience in financial markets. He has represented firms on both the buy and the sell side with a particular focus on commodities and alternative assets. He has been involved in activities that range from market making in precious metals and currency markets to raising funds for private funds and hedge funds. He previously worked at large and regulated entities such as Merrill Lynch and Chase Manhattan Bank. At HTR Consulting Mr. Ryan focuses on business development activities leveraging past relationships from private markets & commodities. . He holds degrees in politics and finance from leading universities such as Wake Forest and Washington University in St. Louis.
Joris Magenti - Special Projects Mr. Magenti brings over 15 years of expertise in strategy, project, and management consulting, with a focus on tech and finance startups. Most recently, he specialized in blockchain and innovation within commodity-base metal trading. Offering a global perspective, Mr. Magenti provided strategic advice for capital raises in US private markets and to international organizations, including the UN, in LATAM and Africa. Holding an MBA from the University of Oxford, he is a seasoned leader dedicated to driving success through strategic thinking and innovation.
